Description:

The best way to experience the web, email, photos, and video. Hands down. All of the built-in apps on iPad were designed from the ground up to take advantage of the large Multi-Touch screen and advanced capabilities of iPad. And they work in any orientation. So you can do things with these apps that you can't do on any other device. A large, high-resolution LED-backlit IPS display. An incredibly responsive Multi-Touch screen. And an amazingly powerful Apple-designed chip. All in a design that's thin and light enough to take anywhere. iPad isn't just the best device of its kind. It's a whole new kind of device.

Features:

Take a network with you wherever you go.
iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G offers superfast data speeds up to 7.2 Mbps over 3G cellular networks around the world. It’s perfect when you’re out and about with no access to a Wi-Fi network, because you can still get a fast connection for surfing the web, sending and receiving email, or getting directions. Since iPad seamlessly switches between 3G and even faster Wi-Fi, you always get the best connection available. And with AT&T data plans, you’ll have access to over 20,000 Wi-Fi hotspots, including Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, and more.

No-contract 3G service.
In the United States, 3G service is available through a breakthrough deal with AT&T. You choose the amount of data per month you want to buy — 250MB or 2GB. You’ll receive onscreen messages as you get close to your monthly data limit so you can decide whether to turn off 3G or upgrade your plan. Best of all, there’s no long-term contract. So if you have a business trip or vacation approaching, just sign up for the month you’ll be traveling and cancel when you get back. You don’t need to visit a store to get 3G service. You can sign up, check your data usage, manage your account, or cancel your service — all from your iPad.

Safari
iPad is the best way to experience the web. View whole pages in portrait or landscape on the large Multi-Touch screen. And let your fingers do the surfing.

James Bond: Goldeneye 007 with Controller: Wii Game Cover
Well... hahah Guess this wont be on my Christmas list anymore seeing how my avid shop-a-holic syndrome seemed to kick in at the wrong time :/ I didn't realize this game was coming out so soon, and when I saw it in Walmart.... I couldn't resist. I had to buy it! So I figured since I already had the game, anyone looking for a good Christmas gift for their teen might appreciate a teens view on the game ;]
1st: I give it a 10 outta 10 for a score. (The original GoldenEye 007  game that was featured on the N64  is the game that started all of the many other great spy games, and multi-player-split-screen games out there, so I think this game deserves a 10)
2nd: This game is so similar to the original game, that they give you a classic N64 controller (just a little more updated looking), there are several levels that are all the same, they kept many of the old characters, and the game-play is exactly like the old one,  You get the same good old James Bond action you did with the N64, now on the Wii, with updated graphics, new guns, levels, characters, and even a new Bond.... Daniel Craig! I would definitely suggest getting this game if your teen is into crime fighting, government spy action kinda games!

    Deer Hunt 2010

Well... I haven't written anything for a while... and I am bored on this... fantastic Sunday.. ha So i figured I would post a picture and the short story of my deer.
    ...THE SAID DEER...
Well.... there he is... a small 3x4...  shot him the 28th of October 2010. (Definitely shot him one too many times). Once in the butt, once in the back, one in the hind leg, one in the front leg,... and the shot that killed him in the neck). When I got home, my family was making fun of me, they all said that I was dressed to go to the mall, but there was no way I was gonna take anytime to change outta my cloths, and miss a shot at a deer, I was desperate for some deer meat!
THE STORY: Went out hunting the full five days, and only saw one buck on the way to Kolob, and couldn't shoot him, cuz he was on private property, and in the Zion Park boundaries. Then end up freezing my butt off while sitting on a rock, didn't see a thing... that night i'm all bummed I didn't get anything. The next day my brothers friend calls him up, and informs us that because i'm 18 I can hunt the full 9 days. Lucky for us, his friend Sergio had been staring at this 3x4 for a half hour, and it wasn't going anywhere. So we drove down to Browse, thinking this deer was just off the road, and it would be an easy kill, and we would just be able to load it up in the truck.... that was NOT the case at all.... first of all, I didn't realize it was getting dark when I shot it, second of all, I didn't realize how far away we were from the truck. (I think I got a little excited hiking down that I didn't realize how far we had gone) ha :/ We end up having to drag this deer 1/2 mile through this tedious rocky, sagebrush canyon, and the only words I can think of to describe that venture was hell! We had to drag it across the river at least 12 times, up over some huge boulders, and we had drug it so long that its hair began to wear down, and in some places it was worn down nearly to the hide... I have definitely learned my lesson about shooting a deer in a canyon when its getting dark. Hopefully its worth it when we get it back from the butcher, cuz i'm looking forward to some deer jerky!

Sigma Nu holds its annual haunted attraction!

    Haunted Hospital! OoOoOo

Sigma Nu Lambda Iota Chapter 239 Here is the Legend of the Haunted Hospital!!!!! enjoy The Haunted Hospital served originally as a psychiatry ward for the state. According to building plans, the cells in which patients were kept in can still be found in the deepest parts of the basement. After a security incident that claimed the lives of several hospital patients and workers, the building was renovated and converted into a hospital. The ground-level floor of the hospital functioned successfully without incident for many years. Aside from the occasional troop of engineers, the basement was left untouched and no major incidents occurred for quite some time. But with Cedar City’s population growing consistently, the hospital was forced to make room wherever possible. The building’s history was all but forgotten at this point in time and so hospital officials decided the most obvious and cheapest way to expand would be to use the currently unoccupied basement. Several departments within the hospital were forced to move down to the basement, and within the month, hospital official began receiving reports from basement staff about strange incidents occurring. Officials ignored these reports, considering them nothing more then fabricated reasons motivated by the unpopular department move to the basement. But it was not long until the first, of what would be a string of accidents, occurred. Jack Flagans, known to fellow employees as “Flannel Jack,” a hospital maintenance engineer who was very upset when he was forced to move his office down to the hospital basement, responded to a maintenance call made by another department in the basement. Reports of what happened are sketchy and police records on the matter have been sealed, but the hospital employee who made the call to police reported later to the city newspaper that he heard screaming and found Mr. Flagans crushed to death. He said that when he entered the room, the walls were running with blood and Mr. Flagans lay in the middle of the floor dead, “his whole body looked completely crushed and destroyed, but nothing was on top of him, there was nothing in the room that could have hit him like that… nothing at all… it was the worsted thing I have ever seen.” Officials later reported that Mr. Flagans had been accidentally killed by a fallen pipe. When asked about the blood running from the walls, officials said that the area Mr. Flagans died in was located directly below the surgery room and that a pipe leak had allowed some blood to drip down to the basement floor. Regardless of the reasons given for the death of Mr. Flagans, hospital employees refused to remain in the basement. Officials had no choice but to allow an overflowing ground-level floor to function as the entirety of the hospital. But it would seem that Mr. Flagan’s death served as the catalyst for what would be the worsted string of “accidental” deaths any state run facility has ever had. Though the basement floor was completely sealed off and no staff ever broached the area again, accidents started occurring on the top floor just a few short days after Mr. Flagan’s death. It started first with patients who were considered to be in stable condition dying overnight. Following this, hospital visitors and employees alike began suffering non-fatal accidents. Reports came in that sightings of strange transparent entities could be seen constantly throughout the night roaming the halls. Screams thought at first to be from patients, were later tracked down to rooms that were empty. The hospital was forced to hire on nearly a half dozen maintenance workers as building functions kept failing. It was not long before minor accidents, suffered by hospital inhabitants, became major accidents that resulted in serious injury and even deaths. This continued for nearly a year before officials decided to make a sudden move to another building. Nearly everything in the old building was abandoned and the building itself was locked down and would remain locked down for several years. Then last year a group of Southern Utah University students reopened the building and ventured forth carefully with the purpose of bringing truth to the tales that had spread throughout the community following the sudden close of the hospital. This organization of students was united under a fraternal brotherhood known as Sigma Nu. Sigma Nu consisted mainly of members from out of state, who come here to advance academically at Southern Utah University. Having caught wind of some of the rumors about the hospital, the men of the organization decided to enter the building and pursue its mysteries with the goal of conducting tours as a means to raise money for their philanthropy project. The organization was only able to broach a single wing of the hospital because of both physical blockade and fear brought on by strange incidents that seemed to occur whenever they went near those older wings of the hospital. This year it is the goal of the men of Sigma Nu to not only branch other aspects of the building, but to open the basement itself. Though the organization assumes no liability for what may occur to those who enter, it does promise an experience of a lifetime to those who are able leave.

    Cheap Christmas Gifts

Looking for a way to get great things like the new I-pad... I-Pods....PSP's.... Gift Cards and other great electronics? well... the other day I was on Facebook when an add popped up in the sidebar. I clicked on it and this is the site it took me to http://www.xbids.com/index.php this looked waaay to good to be true... a new I-pad for only a few dollars?? whats the catch?? There are a few... 1. You have to buy what is called a bid pack. A basic bid pack comes with 45 bids, and costs $27.00. The other catch is that you have to bid on everything... well your saying to yourself. "This site sounds exactly like Ebay"..... well... Its not! every time a bid gets close to ending... people start to bid on stuff like crazy... every time someone bids, and there is only a few seconds left on the bid timer. The timer will jump back up to 15 seconds. ex. "2 seconds left on bid timer. someone bids on it before the timer reaches zero. Bid timer jumps back up to 15 seconds." This can go on fooorrever! And unless you wanna be sitting in a chair all day looking at your computer screen for hours and hours, I wouldn't suggest trying this site... works for some people i'm sure.. hahaha but I doubt i'll be winning the 16 GB wi-fi equipped I-Pad that i'm waiting to bid on... You never know though! Some people just get lucky! And now that I have already bought into the bid pack scandal, mind as well use them up! Ill let ya know how it goes... if anyone is even reading this... haha

Sauté de Crevette Fettuccine Alfredo a la Parisenne de bechamel! [Shrimp Sauté with cream and Mushroom Sauce]

Well... Here is my first recipe (and Favorite) that is going on my blog! The Shrimp can be substituted for any meat, i'm more of a chicken guy, so I prefer it to shrimp in this dish. But none the less, this dish... once again! turned out very successful I must say :D and the French Baguettes turned out to be a great addition to the dish...all I used was French Bread that I had the bakery slice for me! And... I didn't feel like washing extra dishes, so paper plates were a good substitute!
p.s I would recommend reading through the recipe before preparing it, as you may decide you want to substitute a different meat.
    *****SERVES 6-8 people*****

    1st: Prepare the Pasta!
    *1 box Fettuccine pasta
*Bring 4-6 quarts water to boil in large pan
*Add Fettuccine pasta to boiling water boil for 6-8 minutes or until done.
*Add 1 Tb olive oil to water to prevent the pasta from sticking together
*Drain Pasta in colander put back in  hot pan to keep warm
(If your a little slow at preparing the overall meal, and you pasta gets cold. just throw some hot water back in the pan, and drain).

    2nd: Prepare the Mushrooms!
    CHAMPIGNONS SAUTES AU BEURRE
    [Sauteed Mushrooms]
    * A 10 Inch enameled skillet
    * 2 Tb butter
    *1 Tb oil
*1 lb. fresh mushrooms, washed, well dried, and sliced
*6 Tb minced shallots or green onions (1 Shallot)
    * freshly ground pepper & salt to taste
"Place the skillet over high heat with the butter and oil. As soon as you see that the butter foam has begun to subside, indicating it is hot enough, add the mushrooms (don't crowd the mushrooms, they won't brown properly). Toss and shake the pan for 4 to 5 minutes. During their Sauté, the mushrooms will at first absorb the fat. In 2 to 3 minutes the fat will reappear on their surface, and the mushrooms will begin to brown. As soon as they have browned lightly add the shallots and sauté once again for 2 to 3 minutes".
*Place mushrooms and shallots in a side dish until later. (don't forget to season w/salt and pepper) :)

    3rd: Prepare the Meat!
If you are doing Shrimp remove the tails! and just Sauté them in 2 Tb butter and a little olive oil
(season ALL meat with salt and pepper, no matter what meat you are using).
if you would like to turn this into a  SAUTÉ DE BOEUF A LA PARISENNE   [Beef Sauté with cream and Mushroom Sauce] simply substitute the shrimp for some good cuts of beef  ideally, Filet Mignon (1 cut of beef per person). And do the same... sautéing the beef in 2 Tb butter and 1 Tb olive oil until the Filet Mignon reaches your desired doneness. (just make sure to de-grease the pan after your done cooking the cuts of beef)...  or still yet. substitute for boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 breast per person), and sauté them in 2 Tb butter and 1 Tb olive oil.
    *remove meat to side dish

    4th: Prepare the Sauce!
    * 1/2 Cup Madeira or dry white cooking wine
    * 1 1/2 Cup Brown Beef Stock or beef bouillon
    * 2 Cups Heavy whipping cream
    * 4 tsp cornstarch blended with 2 tablespoons of the cream
    *salt and pepper
    * Fresh Parsley Sprigs (For garnish)
"Pour the wine and stock or bouillon into the skillet and boil it down rapidly, scraping up coagulated cooking juices, until liquid is reduced to about  1/2 cup. Beat in the cream, then the cornstarch mixture. Simmer a minute more. The sauce should have a slight liaison (Be slightly Thickened) . Taste Carefully for seasoning".
*Put lid on skillet and turn heat to low, let simmer occasionally stirring

    5th: Prepare the vegetables!
*3-4 Broccoli Florets divided into small pieces
*4 fresh carrots peeled and sliced
"Bring 4 Quarts of water to boil in saucepan and add veggies drain with colander"
    * add vegetables to sauce, and let simmer for 3-5 minutes occasionally stirring
"Put the meat back into the sauce vegetable mixture, and allow to simmer for 3-5 minutes until ready to serve"
"Garnish with parsley sprigs, and arrange on plate"
    * Pasta on bottom of plate
    * meat
    * Pour veggie sauce mixture over meat
    *Top: Parsley sprig
    French Baguette
1 Bag sliced French Bread toasted in butter in a small skillet
